Sometimes just raising our awareness of something that has gone largely unnoticed in our lives can have a significant effect.

If you’re new to understanding the principles of the Law of Attraction, here’s an interesting game that will make you very aware of how frequently negative thoughts come to you throughout the day.

Make an intention to watch your thoughts - whether for an hour or two, half a day, or all day - and count how often your self-talk contains negative words like “No” and “Don’t want”.

Do this without judgment, just from an observatory perspective.

If you have one of those click counters, reach into your pocket every time you catch a negative word or phrase and give it a click.

By the end of your set time period, you will be amazed at how often your thoughts tend to wander into the negative.

But the best part of this game is that simply by being aware of how often this happens, you’ll find yourself catching these negative thoughts and words more easily.

The next day, or next segment of time, form an intention to not only catch your negative words and phrases, but also to purposefully re-state them in more positive terms.

In the beginning it can be a challenge, but once you do it a few times, it does become easier and easier. And after playing this game for a while, you’ll notice that you’ve started doing this subconscoiusly, without even thinking about it. And that’s a very powerful shift in perspective.
